This is due to the fact that many who have committed suicide are the ones who were suffering from depression.

With the many articles and news that is being released about depression, sometimes it has been hard for some to know which ones are the facts and which ones are not. Based on blogs about depression, not everything that is being portrayed in the film is the exact manifestation of someone with depression. Sometimes, stories are just exaggerations.

Fighting it from taking over your life is a constant struggle. You will need the help that you can get from the people who matters to you. It is important that you know they support you every step of the way. Most were successful and is now leading normal lives. There are others who have let the pain took over and is now either in a mental asylum or in the cemetery.

It is a harsh fact. Harsh and at the same time sad, that something like that could make people think that it would be better to not live at all. Almost every time, when you hear someone that is suffering from the condition, the first thing that comes to mind is a doctor who can help. This is not always the case as depression, like any other emotional reaction, is just normal especially when you just went through a great deal.

According to the blogs, it is not always true that depressed people always lock themselves up in their room and never socialize with other people. Although, it is what happens is some cases. There are others who still meet with their friends or talk to people like everything is normal. But it is when they are alone that the feeling kicks in.

Having this condition would mean that you would always have to struggle so that you would have at least a normal day. Normal means you are not thinking of jumping over a cliff or throwing yourself in front of the bus or crying yourself to sleep. Acknowledging that you are fighting your mind will help you in focusing on things that are positive.

There are times when it is manifested through another emotion. It is not always sadness and tears. There are those who choose to be angry at things and at people which is more terrifying because there is no telling what they could do.

Most doctors would advise depress people to take anti depressants. It can help in leveling your emotions so that you could think better. Contrary to the belief of many that it could melt down any feeling of pain. It is just to help someone control his emotions and not the solution to get rid of the feeling.

But you should always remember to not be too dependent on these drugs. The will to have a normal life should be your choice. And you should take steps to improve your mood even without drinking anything.
